Brigadoon Bay's strategies are primarily Value Investing based and look for undervalued companies with high Returns on Equity, strong Balance Sheets, positive Free Cash Flows, and understandable business models. Stock selection is not limited by size and portfolios are invested in companies of any size, from larger well-established companies to smaller companies. Investments are generally made in companies based in the United States or Canada.

Brigadoon Bay's benchmark is the Dow Jones US Mid-Cap Total Stock Market Index (previously known as the Dow Jones Wilshire Mid-Cap Index) is an unmanaged Dow Jones (previously Dow Jones Wilshire) composite of approximately 500 stocks regarded as representative of mid-cap stocks. As of December 31, 2009 , 221 of these stocks were selected as components of the Dow Jones US Mid-Cap Value Total Stock Market Index (previously known as the Dow Jones Wilshire Mid-Cap Value Total Return Index). This index is used as the benchmark and uses the same methodology, composition, historical data, and symbol (DWMVT), under both the Dow Jones and Dow Jones Wilshire names. Unless otherwise indicated, index results include reinvested dividends and do not reflect sales charges. It is not possible to directly invest in this Index.

Care should be used when comparing results to those published by other investment advisors, other investment vehicles, and unmanaged indices due to possible differences in calculation methods.

Investment results may vary from client to client, based upon each client’s individual goals, financial status, and preferences.
